Entretex was formed as a productive business in June 1971, introducing the fusionable interlining into the Mexican textile market, which had revolutionized the way to manufacture garments in Europe and in the United States. Entretex was born as an investment agreement between two Mexican and German groups: Santiago and Kufner Textil KG.
With the technological support of the German group, the company was first installed in the grounds of Santiago Textil, with the top of the line equipments, enabling the company to produce in a vertical way with the highest quality standards. In that year the first exports to the US took place.
In this year the first exports to the United States and Canada were made.
During the early years of the 80s, which Entretex invested in two modern plants, besides modernizing all its machinery.
In the area of Cuautepec Hidalgo, a weaving and knitting plant was established, where we have looms and weft inserted looms of the latest generations.
In the area of Acaxochitlan Hidalgo, a finishing and coating plant was developed, where in the same way, the latest machinery and equipments were installed. These two plants allow having a total control of the different steps of production in each product. This investment in addition to a very skilled and well-trained team, allows Entretex to deliver the best product quality in the different interlining markets.
In the year 1985, modern central offices were opened in Mexico City, in the new Polanco, which has become the economic center of the city. Easy and convenient distribution and customer service is performed in this office.
New export destinations are added to our sales, Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Venezuela.
More than 500,000 mts are exported to China.
Exports are made to the European Union.
